Current use

Knect does not intentionally place advertising, profiling or optional analytics cookies through the public website. The hosting and access platform may use strictly necessary technologies for security, request routing, fraud prevention or access control. These support delivery of the service rather than advertising.

Why there is no consent banner

Under PECR, consent is generally required for non-essential cookies and similar technologies. Strictly necessary technologies can fall within an exception. Because the current site does not intentionally use optional technologies, displaying an “accept all” banner would not provide a meaningful choice.

WhatsApp and external links

The WhatsApp controls are ordinary external links to WhatsApp. WhatsApp receives data only after you choose one, and then processes information under its own privacy and cookie terms. Knect does not load WhatsApp code on this website.

Future changes

Before optional analytics, embedded media or a live-chat service is enabled, Knect should assess the technology, update this information and introduce an appropriate consent mechanism where required.
